About the dolls, plushies and teddy bears:
The head, bust, hands and feet of
the dolls are sculpted from polymer clay- without the use of
molds. Their body is created of wadding and synthetic yarn, they have glass
eyes, and their features are emphasized by a special handmade heat set paint.
The hair is made of synthetic fiber, animal- or human hair or silk. Their
clothing is hand sewn of different types of fabric and leather.
Every doll has its unique character, every
one of them is numbered, and wears the sculptors monogram (H.Zs.) on the nape
of its neck. Every single one of them has its own story, printed on a small
tag, which also contains the certificate of authenticity. The dolls are
fragile, intended for adults as sculptures, not as toys. Their extremities, are
moderately poseable, they cannot be dressed, or their hair combed.
The plushies are designed
and the pattern is hand drawn by Zsuzsanna Horváth. Synthetic and cotton
fabrics, faux fur, cotton yarn, safety eyes and buttons and different ribbons
are used at their creation and they are filled either with polyester wadding or
silicone filling. A sewn in fabric tag with „Zsuzsi” signature indicates the
authenticity of the plushie. They are machine washable (gentle cycle).
The teddy bears and other
jointed plush figures are also designed and their pattern is hand drawn by
Zsuzsanna Horváth. They are created of mohair or faux fur, their eyes are made
of plastic or glass buttons or safety eyes. Their face is hand embroidered and
shaded by paints. They are five way jointed either with lock-nut, cotter pin or
safety joints. Rubber foam, polyester wadding or leftover (yet unused) fabric
scraps serve as filling, rendering the teddies "ECO friendlier". Also
a sewn in fabric tag with „Zsuzsi” signature indicates the authenticity of the
teddy bear and a swing tag is added containing the certificate of authenticity
and the list of materials used. They are not toys and are intended for adults.
They are non-washable, should be cleaned with a damp cloth only.
